Quartermaster at the Supply Company

As a quartermaster at the supply company, you will be at the forefront of the Armed Forces' growth within the artillery battalion. You will play a central role in the company by ensuring that our soldiers and officers are well-equipped and prepared for the training the company is expected to conduct and the tasks we are expected to solve. You will serve in a dynamic environment with varied tasks and a great deal of freedom of action. The Supply Company

The Supply Company belongs to the artillery battalion at the Boden Artillery Regiment and has the main task of training conscripts for war placement in one of our combat units. The company consists of company leadership, company staff, and three platoons with conscripts and full-time employed officers and soldiers. The company staff consists of a technical chief, quartermaster, training adjutant, and company assistants. The company staff is led by the company commander. The Supply Company is relatively young in age, which creates a great flow of new thinking and creativity. Perfect in times of growth!

Main Responsibilities

As a quartermaster at the supply company, you will serve at the company's staff. Your main task is to support the company commander and the rest of the company in material and maintenance service. This includes, among other things:

  • Keeping track of the company's equipment, both digitally and physically.
  • Ensuring that the company has the right materials and supplies, at the right time and in the right place.
  • Creating decision-making support for the company commander from a logistical perspective.
  • Preparing logistical matters.
  • Supporting platoons with logistical benefits.
  • Developing and evaluating routines and logistical flows within the company.
  • Being part of the war planning in one of our combat units.

You may also perform general staff duties within the company staff. This may include:

  • Participating in planning for training and exercises with wise thoughts, ideas, and perspectives.
  • Participating in the execution of exercises as support to the company exercise leader.
  • Following up and quality assuring training, exercises, and drills at the company.
  • Supporting the rest of the company staff personnel.

You will also be able to contribute by:

  • Training conscripts.
  • Serving in a combat unit during exercises and training.
  • Mentoring younger colleagues.
  • Participating in live operations and readiness.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Professional or reserve officer exam, minimum SO 6
  • Driver's license B

The Boden Artillery Regiment, A 8, is the Armed Forces' competence center for indirect combat. The regiment preserves and develops competencies, materials, and methods for the future ability to detect and hit targets at long distances with high precision. A 8 has functional responsibility for CAS (Close Air Support) - to lead air support against ground targets and for weather services within the Army in the Armed Forces. Combat in winter conditions is a special competence for the unit in Boden.
